Two Buck Chuck is a stout paint from Powder River Rodeo. He is a Wrangler National Finals Rodeo bucking stallion that makes you stop and watch every time he is in the arena.

Two Buck Chuck was born and raised on the Powder River Ranch in Riverton, Wyoming. He is by world champion bucking horse, Chuckulator of Sutton Rodeo, and out of Moon Beam who is also a Wrangler National Finals bucking horse and a foundation mare of Powder River’s.

“He’s a majestic stallion with the most attitude and personality you’ll ever get the pleasure to be around. His bucking style is so flashy, he gives cowboys the very best chance to win first,” said John Franzen of Powder River Rodeo.

Two Buck Chuck has had three outs in 2021 and he lived up to what Franzen had to say about him, he got all three cowboys into the money. His first out was in Belle Fourche, South Dakota where he took Cole Franks to the win with an 89-point ride. Up next was Jacob Lees who ended up third in Herber City, Utah with 85 points and most recently, Cole Reiner went for 88.5 points on the paint at the Caldwell Night Rodeo.

In 2020 Orin Larsen and Kaycee Field both made it into the 90’s on the stud, Larsen going for 90 points at the Dinosaur Roundup and Field going for 90.5 at the Black Hills Roundup. Clint Laye and Richmond Champion scored 89 points each at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo while Paden Hurst went for 87.5 at the Gem State Classic Pro Rodeo in Blackfoot, Idaho.

He has had high scores on him from the get-go in 2019. It was Jamie Howlett and Trenton Montero that claimed the highest scores on the horse that year. Howlett went for 88 points in Billing, Montana and Montero went for 87 points at the Mountain Valley Stampede Rodeo in Herber City, Utah. Also getting a score that year was Chance Ames with 85 points at the Red Desert Roundup and Leighton Berry with an 84-point ride to win the Sanders County Fair and PRCA Rodeo.

The year 2019 was also the year that Two Buck Chuck was the high marked bareback horse in round five and every cowboy that drew him, won that round. This is just a glimpse at the many successes that Two Buck Chuck has had, and he will have many more.

“I truly believe when his time is done, he will become one of the most recognized horses in our industry. We have done some things that have never been done with him, the sky is the limit.” Franzen said.

He is one you can look out for the rest of the season, Two Buck Chuck is hard to miss!
