Howlett currently sits in sixth place in the world standings and is within striking distance of the top three with a big performance at the NFR in Arlington. Jamie earned $66,582.62 on the season.
Howlett got off to a hot start at the Fort Worth Stock Show and rodeo after winning the first round he would place third in the finals. Overall at the rodeo, Howlett earned $12,458.
Jamie kept the hot start to his season going at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo where he won the bracket in round one thanks to an 86 point ride.

He would earn a check in four more rounds earning a total of just under $11,000 at the rodeo.
The July 15th weekend would be a lucrative one for Howlett as well. He began the weekend by taking second in Kansas’ Largest Night Rodeo with an 86.5 point ride. The ride earned him a check of $1,500.

That same weekend saw Howlett grab the top spot at the Ute Stampede thanks to an 88-point ride.

He would add one more big win to his 2020 resume, securing a spot in the top-10 in the world standings at the Dodge City Roundup Rodeo in Dodge City, Kansas. Howlett placed second in the finals, but it was his first-round run that earned him a big payday. He earned more than $3,000 after an 88 point ride.

Howlett has already guaranteed the best finish of his career but is within $28,000 of second-place Kaycee Feild, who happens to be his rodeo idol. It will take a big NFR for Howlett to move into the top three, but he has shown the ability to be the best in the world on any given night.
