Meet Beutler & Son’s Smoke Stack

The bull Stetson Wright rode for 92 points in Round Nine of the Wrangler NFR was Smoke Stack, who belongs to Beutler and Son Rodeo Company of Elk City, Oklahoma.

Smoke Stack is 4-years-old but has more than 30 years of good genetics in him. Smoke Stack is related to three NFR bulls and is the son of 2008 and 2009 PRCA Bull of the Year Voodoo Child.

“He’s kind of an old school Brahman-looking bull, you used to see a lot of them back in the late 80s, early 90s,” Rhett Beutler said. “I guess all of the genetics, the pedigrees crossed up over generations, it was just kind of the old school stuck with him.”
