Matt West Looks Ahead to PBR World Finals in Texas

The World Title races are tight going into the PBR World Finals.

Woopaa and Ridin Solo are head to head in the Yeti Bull of the Year race with Pookie Holler sitting in third. Joao Ricardo Vieira is currently leading the World but Daylon Swearingen is right behind him.

“Cord made a business decision. He sent [Ridin Solo] to Billings, Montana for the final regular season event of the year. He was actually the No. 2 bull going into the weekend but he gained some ground… that means it’s a clean slate going into the finals,” Matt West said.

The World Finals is coming to Cowtown and West says that bringing the biggest bull riding of the year to Fort Worth is like bringing the World Finals home. The nerves are amping up for not only the bull riders but for West as well.

“This is what everybody has worked for. It’s my job to put the lyrics to the music in this final event and this is the biggest song that’s going to be sung all season long, so I’ve got to be able to tell the right stories. I want to do these guys justice,” he said.
