Mason Clements Talks About his Matchup with Fargo at the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo

Bareback rider Mason Clements finished 16th in the 2019 world standings, just one spot away from qualifying for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in December. But the end-of-year disappointment hasn’t seemed to affect the young gun’s mental game. Clements got off to a hot start at the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo by posting the top-score in the first round.

Kirbe Schoor caught up with him following his 89.5 ride on Bailey ProRodeo’s Fargo to get his initial reaction and talk about his take on the 2020 season.

“Stay healthy,” Clements said. “Stay healthy, mark every horse out, gas every horse, and finish every horse stronger than when I started, that’s my goal.”
