Barrel racer Maggie Poloncic joined Western Sports Roundup on Wednesday night to discuss a big week for women’s rodeo.
The WCRA Women’s World Championship, the WPRA World Finals and The Cowgirl Gathering are all this week in Texas and those three events have more than $1,000,000 in prize money on the line.
“I think not just women, but any rodeo athlete that gets to compete for this kind of money is extraordinary for our sport,” Poloncic said. “You just have to show up and do your part.”
