In part two of our ProRodeo Tonight Legends series feature, 5X world champion Luke Branquinho talks about his 2021 season comeback as he chases that sixth gold buckle.
He covers rehabbing from several years of serious injuries, starting fresh this year and working with Paige Champion (former Olympic figure skater, performance coach, and wife of bareback rider Richmond Champion), the importance of mental game, his strategy/horse power for this year, and how he feels about being 40.
“Turning 40, yah know, it’s just a number,” says Luke. “If I can keep my mental health young and my body feeling young, 40 is just a number.”
