Lukasey Morris’ Texas Swing Picks Up as He Tops Wildcard Leaderboard at Dickies Arena

Bull rider Lukasey Morris advances to Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Semi-Finals.

A qualified ride in his bracket landed Lukasey Morris in the Wildcard Round to fight for his shot in the Semi-Finals. A matchup with Rafter G Rodeo’s Fifth Avenue and an 87 is all it took for the Oklahoma bull rider to get the job done.

“I got on practice bulls this morning at the house. It was 30 degrees so I didn’t do it for no reason, you know what I mean. That’s exactly why I did it so I’m just thankful it worked out,” Morris said.

After research the night before, Morris was hoping for Fifth Avenue to take his usual trip and the Rafter G bull did just that.

Moving on to the Semi-Finals out of the Wildcard Round alongside Morris is the only other cowboy with a qualified ride, Bryce Jenson.
