Lukasey Morris Punctures Lung On His First Weekend Back

Lukasey Morris has continued to dominate in the Resistol Rookie Race and is currently sitting at No. 10 in the PRCA World Standings despite the multiple obstacles he has been forced to overcome this season.

Morris had just returned to competition after suffering from a broken leg in which he acquired over the Fourth of July weekend at the Livingston Roundup Rodeo when he experienced another unrelated injury as he was dismounting his bull in San Juan Capistrano at the Rancho Mission Viejo Rodeo where he was knocked unconscious and endured a punctured lung.

The bull riders father Jimmy Morris said the wound should heal on its own and Lukasey should be back in action by early September.
