Lindsay Rosser Sumpter Talks All Things Women’s Rodeo World Championships

The Women’s Rodeo World Championships are underway at the Cowtown Coliseum. This event includes women’s barrel racing, breakaway roping, and team roping.

Lindsay Rosser Sumpter, Commissioner of the event, grew up in the western way of life and is determined to continue and expand on the opportunities for women in rodeo.

Lindsay is the Head rodeo Coach for the Otero Junior College and with a long history of roping herself, Lindsay is helping to continue to build opportunities for female rodeo athletes beyond the collegiate level.

The Showdown Round of the WRWC will take place May 18th at the Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas, where the Champions will be paid out $750,000.
