Leighton Berry Holds On To No. 1 In Dodge City

Bareback rider Leighton Berry has been out of commission since the Odessa Pro Rodeo in the beginning of the year.

The horse came back in the chute causing an injury that resulted in spinal surgery and a six to eight month recovery time.

The wait is over, Leighton Berry is back!

Making his come back appearance at the Dodge City Roundup Rodeo in Dodge City, Kansas, Berry went for 89 points in the first performance to take the lead. Three performances later and the young cowboy is still No. 1 and setting himself up for an outstanding fall rodeo run.
