Lefty Holman made his first appearance back on the professional rodeo road in Denver but now he comes to Fort Worth and gets the first round win in his bracket.
“Honestly it just feels so good to be rodeoing again,” Holman said.
Bracket 4 is stacked with powerhouse saddle bronc riders, and it was Holman’s 84.5 on Big Rafter Rodeo’s Tequila Sunrise that came out on top.
“I knew that horse coming in today and I knew if I did my job, that horse would do its,” Holman said.
Round 2 of Bracket 4 will take place Friday afternoon and the saddle bronc will be electric.
