Layton Green and Korkow’s Onion Ring Score Big in Puyallup

Saddle bronc rider Layton Green put big numbers on the board during Round 2 of the Cinch Playoffs in Puyallup. He marked 88 points on the iconic bronc of Korkow Rodeo’s, Onion Ring.

“That’s an awesome horse. I had him in Ellensburg , you know, he kind of got the better of me that day. I didn’t ride near as good as I could’ve and I came at him with a new perspective today. That horse is all there,” Green said.

Combined with his Round 1 score, Green sits No. 1 in the average in Puyallup with a total of 171 on two head meaning we will see him again in the Eight Man Round.

Green sits No. 11 in the World and is looking at a possible third trip to Las Vegas come December if he keeps it up.
