Ky Hamilton is the No. 1 Bull Rider in the World and he added to his lead with a win in Sisters, Oregon.
With an 89.5-point ride on Stand By Me of Corey & Lange Rodeo, Hamilton was the champion by two points. Jordan Hansen was second and Hayes Weight was third with 85.5 points.
“I was kind of banking on him going left but he bowed out of there and went right and I just had to be ready for it and then he went back left at the end. But he was an awesome young bull of Mike Corey’s and it worked out,” Hamilton said.
Being No. 1 in the world is a position that Hamilton has been in before and he says he didn’t back himself enough then. This year, Hamilton’s confidence is showing as he continues to dominate everywhere he goes, including Sisters Rodeo.
