Australian bull rider Ky Hamilton was 3-for-4 in Cheyenne and won nearly $20,000 for his effort at the Daddy of ‘Em All.
Hamilton sealed the deal in the winner-take-all Championship Round on Sunday with 89 points Stace Smith’s No. 546.
“I just knew I had to do my job like everywhere else, I didn’t think I’d be standing up here,” he said. “Shoot, hats off to them guys, they make me ride better, I love competing against them.”
Hamilton, who missed more than three months between March and June, is now No. 20 in the PRCA World Standings. He is currently $11,000 out of an NFR spot.
Sage Kimzey finished second at the Daddy, Parker Breding was third and Stetson Wright was fourth. Although Wright and Breding received the two largest checks for their spots in the average. They were the only cowboys to ride all four bulls, which earned Wright $8,819 and Breding $6,761.
