Kentucky Derby Update

The 146th Kentucky Derby had to be postponed this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the race is still on, taking place September 5 at Churchill Downs, now as the second leg of the Triple Crown Series.

With the race just around the corner, Churchill Downs officials recently released a statement on its decision to allow fans. While there will be no general admission tickets available and the infield will be closed, up to 23,000 will be allowed in reserved seating at a maximum of 40 percent capacity. This will be less than 14% of total capacity from the 2015 attendance record.
