The Cowboy Channel is proud to announce that Kami Peterson has joined The Cowboy Channel family as Vice President of Western Sales. Peterson has been actively involved in the Western industry and particularly Western fashion. Over the past 18-years Peterson worked at the well-known publishing company Western Horseman as their top Sr. Account Executive. She also served as the brand ambassador and sales executive for the brand’s fashion business-to-business publication Western Lifestyle Retailer and was instrumental in co- founding the annual Western Summit, a one-day industry conference to educate and celebrate retailers during the WESA trade show and market.

“I am so thrilled to be joining The Cowboy Channel, a network that is truly dedicated to rodeo and the western lifestyle enthusiast. Fans are excited to have their own Cowboy Channel, with positive programming that we can all be proud to be a part of. On top of that, ladies’ events, fashion and shows are skyrocketing! Making this the perfect time to be involved in such a focused content package. Patrick and Raquel are doing a lot for the industry and I am excited and honored to be a part of the team,” said Kami Peterson Vice President of Western Sales.

Kami grew up in rural Colorado outside of Lamar, where she and her sisters showed cattle and were actively involved in 4-H and FFA. Peterson remains an avid team roper, and she and her husband are co-owners of the Bob Feist Invitational Team Roping, the most prestigious one-day event which runs in conjunction with the Reno Rodeo, and they produce the World Series of Team Ropings called the California Shootouts.

Peterson will continue to reside with her husband in Cave Creek, Arizona, and will make frequent trips to The Cowboy Channel offices located in Fort Worth offices and can be reached at kami@thecowboychannel.com.
