Breakaway roper Justine Doka turned in a 1.8-second run right out of the gate as she secured a Gold Medal Round Qualification in Performance 1 of the Utah Days of ’47 Rodeo and took advantage of the opportunity as she came out on top in the Final Round.
“Its a big deal, I mean I don’t get to go very many big places and just had to capitalize on what’s available,” Doka said.
Doka locked in her Gold Medal with a 2.0-second run to pull a check for $10,000 in Salt Lake City along side silver and bronze medalists, Zoie Bedke and Erin Johnson.
