Jordon Briggs Becomes Two-Time RodeoHouston Champion After Two Dazzling Runs on Championship Sunday

Jordon Briggs absolutely dominated Super Series Semifinal 2 at RodeoHouston to claim her spot on Championship Sunday by making the fastest run of the rodeo, a 14.35.

The World Champion barrel racer and her great horse Rollo went on to make identical runs in the 10-Man and Four-Man Rounds to win RodeoHouston for the second consecutive time.

A pair of 14.73’s inside NRG Stadium and Briggs held on to the title at RodeoHouston, the rodeo that she says is both her and Rollo’s favorite.

“I just have to sit up and do my job and run to my spots and he always tries so hard. And it’s amazing that these athletes can do this twice in a day, let alone that we’ve already run here four other times, plus today. And I just have to do my job and he always shows up and does his,” Briggs said.

RodeoHouston is a rodeo that Briggs said can set up a contestants entire year and she might have done just that as she now sits No. 1 in the WPRA World Standings after attending just five rodeos in 2023.
