Jordan Hansen is heading back to the NFR for the first time since the 2019 season in which he finished No. 5 in the Bull Riding World Standings. Hansen heads to the 2023 Finals No. 11 in the World after earning over $144,000 on the season.

Here is a look back at Hansen’s 2023 Regular Season.

BIGGEST PAYDAYS

RodeoHouston, $9,730

The most lucrative rodeo of the season came early in the year at RodeoHouston where Hansen won nearly $10,000. Hansen took advantage of an off night in his bracket and won the second round with a 73-point ride that earned him $7,500.

Ellensburg Rodeo Xtreme Bulls, $9,403

One of the best weekends of the year for Hansen came at the Ellensburg Xtreme Bulls where he took home just under $9,500. Hansen placed fourth in the Finals with an 88.5-point ride and went on to finish fourth in the average as well with a total of 173 on two head.

HIGHEST MARKED RIDES

That Famous Preston Night Rodeo, 90 Points

Hansen tallied one 90-point ride during the 2023 season and it came at the Famous Preston Night Rodeo. Unfortunately for Hansen, the 90 points would only earn him second place as Ky Hamilton was marked 91.5 points to get the win.

NOTABLE WINS

Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede, 88 Points

Hansen earned a nice payday at the Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede after going 88 points and edging out Brady Portenier’s 87-point ride. The ride earned him a check of over $5,000.

Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Round 3, 88 Points

Hansen’s fourth ride of the season would be a lucrative one. He was marked 88 points at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo to win Round 3 and earn over $5,800.
