John Crimber Secures Victory at Parker County Sheriff’s Posse Frontier Days Xtreme Bulls

Crimber adds another check to his season earnings after a win in Weatherford, Texas.

At just 18 years old, John Crimber made his debut in the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) and has been on a hot streak ever since. In just a few short years, he’s become the second-youngest rider to earn a PBR World Championship buckle and the youngest athlete in the association to surpass the $1 million earnings mark.

With nearly three years of success behind him, Crimber entered 2026 ready for a new challenge: Making his rookie debut in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and expanding his already impressive career at just 20 years old.

While Crimber may have entered the rookie race later than many of his competitors, he’s quickly made up for lost time. The young standout currently sits at No. 4 in the Resistol Rookie Race standings and holds the No. 17 spot in the world rankings, as of June 10. Just days before hitting the road for the summer run, Crimber picked up valuable momentum, adding another check to his season earnings at Parker County Sheriff’s Posse Frontier Days Xtreme Bulls.

“I came in late to the season,” Crimber said. “So I might as well try to stay on every single one of them to make the finals.”

Crimber, who now sits at just over $62,000 in PRCA earnings, matched up with Jag Metals Domes of Stockyards Pro Rodeo, posting an 89.5-point ride to claim the event win and collect an $8,366 check. Prior to the matchup, the bull had been covered only three times since 2024.

“I saw him at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) last year and the year before,” he said. “I was really excited, and I knew that the bull was the ‘money bull.’ So if I did my job and he did his job, I knew it was going to be all good. My mindset coming in was to have fun and take advantage of every opportunity I can.”

As Crimber enjoyed an event close to home and spent time with family before heading north, he reflected on his mindset and motivation as he continues chasing his first NFR qualification.

“God already has everything written out,” Crimber shared. “I’m going on each bull knowing His plans are perfect and everything’s already written down and I just have to do my part.”
