JJ Hampton is a 17-time World Champion and she heads into this year’s National Finals Breakaway Roping as the No. 12 lady.
The Finals will be taking place at the South Point Hotel and Casino at the same time as the PRCA Convention giving the breakaway ropers a chance to display their talent and all that their event has to offer for committees that have yet to add the event to their rodeos.
With six first timers heading to the Finals, there are five ladies that have gone to all three Finals.
“Between the talent of the girls, the step up of the horses, the more added money at the rodeos, it’s pretty amazing how the sport has grown,” Hampton said.
It all takes place November 29 and 30 and the fourth Breakaway Gold Buckle will be won.
