Jeff Flenniken and Tyler Worley’s Solid Run Earns Them Rodeo Austin Team Roping Title

Jeff Flenniken and Tyler Worley roped their fastest in the Finals of Rodeo Austin and earned themselves the title.

Header Jeff Flenniken said they had to wait out a lot of good teams and he wasn’t sure that they 5.2-second run would hold up but they are blessed that it did.

For heeler, Tyler Worley, he is roping with a new perspective these days as he has a new baby boy at home and an unexpected win like this a huge blessing.

“Clay Smith ran him the other day and he was pretty sharp, pretty fast and we just wanted to go get him knocked down and see what happened. And I didn’t think we’d win first, I thought we might place but we’ll take it,” said Worley.

This win has moved Flenniken and Worley just outside the Top 10 in the PRCA World Standings as they prepare to round out the Texas Swing in San Angelo.
