Orman Crites 2022

Jake Orman and Brye Crites are Las Vegas bound for their first career National Finals Rodeo qualification. Orman comes in No. 15 while Crites is No. 14, but with 10 rounds to go, it’s only up from here for the duo.

The team had a successful summer run after the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo got their season started off with a bang. This will be an experience full of firsts for both Orman and Crites as they gear up to rope against the best of the best inside the iconic Thomas & Mack.

Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, $18,420

Orman and Crites capitalized early on in the season, starting with the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. They tied to win the First Round of Bracket 5 and then finished third in the Second Round. They went on to the Semifinals, which they won, before a payday of $12,000 for second place in the Finals.

Dixie National Rodeo, 3.7 Seconds

In Jackson, Mississippi, Orman and Crites would cinch another round win and throw down their fastest run of the season. With a 3.7, they got the Round 2 win and added almost $2,000 to their season earnings.

Sandhills Stock Show and Rodeo, 3.8 Seconds

Another early season success came in Odessa. There, Orman and Crites made one of their fastest runs of the regular season stopping the clock at 3.8 seconds to win the Second Round.

Buffalo Bill Rodeo, 4.3 Seconds

During their summer run, Orman and Crites won the Buffalo Bill Rodeo in Nebraska by seven tenths of a second. This run brought in over $3,500 for the team and they continued to climb toward that Top 15 position.

Livingston Roundup Rodeo, 4.3 Seconds

By just one tenth of a second in Montana, Orman and Crites cinched a win that totaled over $4,000. They also won the Killdeer Mountain Roundup which paid just over $2,800 and the pair brought in more than $9,000 in total over the Cowboy Christmas run.
