The Seth Broesche Memorial was held on February 5 – 6 in Bryan, Texas. This event has gotten large enough that they held the breakaway, calf roping, team roping and steer roping one weekend and the ranch rodeo, auction and a dance on another.
Tony Reina helped organize the event and he was impressed with the competition that was had this past weekend in all roping events.
“It was a fun roping to watch if you stayed around to watch the all-girls roping,” Reina said.
This year, almost $19,000 has been raised for the scholarship fund after the weekend of roping. The ranch rodeo, auction and dance will take place in April that will add to that number.
“It was a good weekend and a great roping,” Reina said.
