Hometown Hero Project Honoring Cotton Rosser is Unveiled

The Hometown Hero Bronze Statue Project will honor one of rodeo’s greatest.

On October 23, in California, 93-year old Cotton Rosser attended the unveiling of the statue. Jeff Wolf, a Utah artist, has recreated Rosser on a horse named Winchester. The statue will stand at the Gallery at Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture in Marysville, California.

Rosser was an All-Around cowboy during college and he unfortunately had an accident that ended his rodeo career as a contestant. Rosser then established a very successful stock contracting firm and will go down in history as a rodeo legend.
