Bull rider Hayes Weight was absent from the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo in 2023 due to injury and makes his way back this season

Utah cowboy Hayes Weight made his return to the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo after missing the event in 2023 due to a shoulder injury.

“I’m so excited, this is one of my favorite rodeos of the year and to be able to be here and compete is just a blessing,” Weight said.

Weight was unable to cover his bull in Round 1 of Bracket 3 and is headed into Round 2 and 3 in San Antonio in hopes of securing a check and a position in the Semifinals.
