We’ve yet to see a tie-down roping run in the 6s at The Calgary Stampede, but Haven Meged got as close as possible Tuesday afternoon by stopping the clock at 7 seconds flat.
“It feels great to get a good run under your belt, takes a little pressure off for tomorrow,” he said afterward.
Meged is in good position to advance as are rookie Cash Enderli, who took second in Round 1 and third in Round 2, as well as World No. 3 Brush Minton. All three cowboys have made between $8,750 and $10,000.
The final performance of Pool B begins on The Cowboy Channel and Cowboy Channel+ this afternoon at 3 PM ET.
