The 2023 NFR Average Champion is heading to the Finals in Fort Worth after winning the first Semifinal Thursday night.
Meged had a simple game plan heading into the performance, which was stacked with talent.
“Just try to make the best run possible. There was a tough set of ropers. I knew I couldn’t just be safe I needed to go out and do what I could do.”
Meged has won just about everything you can in his young career, but one rodeo he doesn’t have a title at yet is the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. That is something he has been hoping to change for years.
“It would be awesome to win Fort Worth. It is something I’ve always wanted to win.”
