Hailey Kinsel and her fan favorite mare, Sister, always make it look easy. Even with a stumble at the first barrel, the recovery was undeniable as they stopped the clock at 16.56 seconds to win Round 1 of their bracket at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
“I love that horse. I love that horse so much and thankfully she loves Fort Worth. I love Fort Worth, this is a great rodeo. She’s the kind of horse that can take a step past a barrel and just gets mad about it and tries a little harder so we made it work tonight, thankfully,” Kinsel said.
Kinsel took the round and Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi took second. They all run again in Round 2 to see who makes it into the Top 2.
