Brunswick, Georgia is a town halfway between Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida and it is home to the Rodeo at the Beach. This is the tenth year for Rodeo at the Beach to take place.
This rodeo raises money for charities through out the town of Brunswick. Bill Foster is President of the Brunswick Exchange Club, and a large portion of proceeds raised from Rodeo at the Beach support children’s charities and first responder charities. Along with Rodeo at the Beach, there is a fair every fall that also donates to those charities.
Another element that is making a comeback to Rodeo at the Beach is the Battle of the Bulls. A representative from each school in Glenn County will ride a mechanical bull.
This is an IPRA sanctioned rodeo and it will be taking place March 18-19 at the Exchange Club Fair Grounds.
