Cole Franks and Wacey Schalla split the lead in Round 3 of Bracket 3 at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.
Franks matched up with Calgary Stampede’s Bucking Knight to lock in his winning ride of 84 points to secure his second check of the Bracket and lock in his position in the qualifiers with $3,500 in earnings.
Schalla and Bailey Pro Rodeo’s Little Bug made it happen in Round 3, securing his second check of the Bracket. Schalla cinched the No. 2 spot in Round 1 and overall collected $4,250 to clench second-place in the qualifiers.
Both Franks and Schalla will make their way back to the Frost Bank Center to compete in the Semifinals at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.
Garrett Shadbolt secures a spot in the Semifinals after dominating the qualifiers, claiming the top spot with $4,500 in earnings. His consecutive first-place finishes in Round 1 and 2 guarantee his advancement.
Bradlee Miller also secures a place among the Bracket 3 progressors, claiming the third spot in the qualifiers with $3,500 earned. He shared the lead in Round 2 and solidified his position with another win in Round 3.
