Before his second performance in the long round at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, bull rider Trevor Kastner met up with Western Sports reporter Amy Wilson at Dickies Arena to talk about his afternoon ride, during which he went 86 points on Four L/Diamond S Rodeo’s Cabo for the win and $1,907 in prize money.
Following their interview, Kastner put up an even higher score Saturday night — 89 points on United Pro Rodeo’s Black Night — winning the second performance as well as the overall in Bracket 6 and qualifying for the semi-finals at the top of the leaderboard. As one of three successful bull rides in the second performance, Kastner also added an additional $2,240 to his earnings.
Trevor Kastner is a 2X Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo champion, and based on his performance so far, it looks like he is well on his way to a third title.
