All seven brackets of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo are complete, and we are moving on to the Wildcard Round. These cowboys and cowgirls have one more chance to snag their spot in the Semifinals. With two spots left, the game is on in every event.

BAREBACK RIDING

The bareback riding brings us the No. 20 ranked cowboy in the world, Bodee Lammers, who matched up with Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Pretty Woman who R.C. Landingham rode for 87 points at the 2022 National Finals Rodeo.

STEER WRESTLING

The steer wrestling is stacked with tough competition. NFR cowboys J.D. Struxness, Tanner Brunner and Timmy Sparing are out while young guns Tucker Allen and Kyler Dick will be gunning for the top 2 spots to move on.

BREAKAWAY ROPING

The tough competition carries over to the breakaway roping as well. World Champions Jackie Crawford and Sawyer Gilbert are among the eight ladies that will back in the box along with 2022 Wildcard Winner Tacy Webb.

SADDLE BRONC RIDING

Saddle bronc riding has some big names on both sides of the draw. South Dakota’s Cash Wilson will go toe-to-toe with Toma Jo of Pete Carr Pro Rodeo for the first time. Also out with be NFR saddle bronc riders Brody Cress, Cort Scheer and Kole Ashbacher.

TIE-DOWN ROPING

TEAM ROPING

Canadians are taking over the team roping. The Graham brothers, Dawson and Dillon, are hoping to bring big momentum to get into the Semifinals with their goal being the NFR at the end of the year.

BARREL RACING

Some of rodeo’s fastest barrel racers will be running down the alley looking for a top 2 finish. Stevi Hillman and Kassie Mowry have jockied some of the best horses in the industry. The horsepower that they could bring is what to watch for.

BULL RIDING

Ky Hamilton will meet up with Rafter G Rodeo’s Swanky who is unridden. Hamilton was the first cowboy to make the eight seconds on his Round 1 bull, it is something the Australian is accustomed to doing. Trey Holston’s matchup is MMW Coriolis Effect who is one for one this season after bucking off Colton Kelley at the Fort Worth Xtreme Bulls.
