Bracket 5 is here to bring us more and more of the good stuff.
BAREBACK RIDING
Bareback riders Rocker Steiner and Shane O’Connell both have rematches in Round 1. Steiner had Sankey Pro Rodeo and Phenom Genetics Toy Soldier at both the Pendleton Round-Up and the Lewiston Roundup during his rookie year and rodeo for 84 and 84.5 points. O’Connell met Sankey’s Pick Up Sticks at the Daddy of ‘Em All in 2021.

STEER WRESTLING
Your No. 2 steer wrestler in the World is Tucker Allen and he will be up against some of the best bull doggers that pro rodeo has to offer like Curtis Cassidy, Ty Erickson and Stockton Graves. Both Cassidy and Graves fell just short of moving on from the Wildcard Round in 2022 while Erickson went on to the Semifinals. Who will advance this year? It is anybody’s game.

Cory Solomon is looking to have a repeat of last year and then some. Solomon made it to the Finals in 2022 and came up just short of a win. Although Adam Gray picked up a check last year in Round 1 of his bracket, he will be gunning for more come Bracket 5.

BULL RIDER
Bull rider Trey Holston is currently sitting No. 1 in the World Standings. Adding a Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo win to his 2023 season would be sure to give the Kansas cowboy a rush of momentum as he went on to San Antonio. There is two bulls and 16 seconds between Holston and a spot in the Semifinals.
