FWSSR Bracket 3

With four spots in each event taken for the Semifinal so far, we head into Bracket 3 of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo to fill two more.

BAREBACK RIDING

Taylor Broussard is currently your No. 5 bareback rider in the World. He has matched up with War Rock of Dakota Rodeo in Round Two, this horse came out on top in the one out he has had in 2023. Garrett Shadbolt is your No. 1 cowboy in the World coming in hot after a win at the National Western. His matchups include Andrews Rodeo’s Trophy Wife and Top Dollar.

STEER WRESTLING

We have seen steer wrestler Shane Frey helping other bulldoggers during other brackets and it is finally his time to shine come Bracket 3. Meanwhile, Timmy Sparing is fresh off of his first National Finals Rodeo qualification and after no luck in Denver, Fort Worth is next up for the Montana cowboy.

TEAM ROPING

SADDLE BRONC RIDING

Your No. 1 saddle bronc rider is Shorty Garrett and you will see him out in Bracket 3. Both draws for Garrett are rematches. Round 1 is Andrews Rodeo’s Net Flix and Round 2 is a rematch with Andrews Rodeo’s Brutus that will have Garrett looking for redemption after Brutus bucked him off in San Antonio.

BARREL RACING

Bracket 3’s barrel racing is full of ladies that are used to success. Brittney Sporer, formally Brittney Barnett, is on her horse, Paint, is a fan favorite, dynamite little horse that clocks anywhere she goes. While Katie Pascoe’s big sorrel, Naughty, can never be underestimated.

BULL RIDING

One bull rider who has had all eyes on him since his NFR debut is Tristen Hutchings. The Idaho cowboy has been undeniable, already making his presence known this 2023 season. Another cowboy that is climbing the standings is Texas’ Tyler Taylor. With success coming his way in both Denver and at the Fort Worth Bulls’ Night Out, he is one to watch.
