Following the announcement of his retirement in October 2025, Cody Teel has now reached another major milestone with an induction into the Bull Riding Hall of Fame.
Teel’s career is defined by consistency and excellence at the highest level of the sport. He earned a PRCA World Championship in 2012 and went on to claim National Finals Rodeo average titles in both 2013 and 2015. Over the course of his career, Teel qualified for the NFR six times and also made six appearances at the PBR World Finals.
While his competitive career has come to a close, Teel remains deeply involved in bull riding. He has taken on a role with the PBR focused on rider relations, serving as a liaison and advocate for the next generation of athletes entering the sport.
Teel’s Hall of Fame induction will be celebrated on May 16 at the Fort Worth Stockyards, where legends of the rodeo world will gather to honor his contributions and permanently etch his name into bull riding history.
