Sarah Angelone is blazing a trail through Texas as she continues to make great strides at both RodeoHouston and Rodeo Austin to earn The Cowboy Channel’s Female Athlete of the Week Title.
Angelone has earned the most money in the breakaway roping at RodeoHouston thus far with a total of $6,000 following a triumphant performance in Super Series III. After delivering a winning run in both Rounds 1 and 2, Angelone will now advance on to the Semifinals.
The cowgirl’s success continued on into Rodeo Austin as she set the pace in Round 1 with a 2.6-second run, which has been good enough to her in the No. 2 position on the leaderboard through three performances.
Angelone is striving to remain in the Top 15 as she currently sits at No. 13 in the WPRA Standings.
