Paige Jones now sits in the No. 15 spot in the WPRA World Standings and the Oklahoma cowgirl is looking for her first trip to the National Finals Rodeo.

The 20-year-old had one of her best weekends ever in professional rodeo as she banked more than $10,000 and pulled checks at four rodeos to move up four sports in the WPRA World Standings.

She took home the championship title from the Farm-City Pro Rodeo after being the only one to stop the clock in under 17 seconds on her horse, Cotton, who Jones has had much success on inside the arena.

“He means the world to me, especially that I get to run him out here. He’s just coming back from being hurt and he’s just amazing me again,” Jones said.

Jones placed in three other rodeos this past week including the Bozeman Stampede Missoula Stampede and the Omak Stampede. These checks bring her overall season earnings to $65,336 and make her your Female Athlete of the Week.
