Acey Pinkston cinched a big win in Waco, Texas at the Permit Finals. The Texas cowgirl took home the Barrel Racing Championship after three runs that each pulled a check and put Pinkston No. 1 in the average.
Pinkston’s Round 1 time was a 16.52 that tied her for third and she got faster from there. A 16.10 got her the Round 2 win while a 16.20 was good enough for the win in Round 3. She cashed in over $2,500 and is the Female Athlete of the Week.
