Trey Kimzey has cemented himself inside the Top 10 in the PRCA Bull Riding Standings after a big weekend at the Cinch Playoffs.
Kimzey was the only bull rider to cover all four bulls in Puyallup, leading him to not only an average victory but also a win in the Final Round of the rodeo.
He opened the rodeo with an 85-point ride on Terminator which earned him over $3,300. Kimzey followed that up with an 81.5-point ride in round two. In the Semifinals it was a 61-point ride with the option of a reride, but because the 61 points were enough to advance him to the finals he opted to keep his score.
In the Finals, Kimzey was the only rider to cover his bull with an 84-point ride. That ride alone won him $13,000.
Kimzey is now No. 7 in the PRCA World Standings as he looks for his third career NFR appearance.
