Trey Holston’s September has been a good one as he zones in on his second trip to the National Finals Rodeo. After finding the pay window at two different rodeos this past week, he is your Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
Holston’s second-place finish in Amarillo came after an 87-point ride made on Where Is The Whiskey of Stace Smith Pro Rodeo. He followed it up with a big win at the Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo when he rode Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Time Warp for 88 points.
Between the two paydays, Holston added almost $5,000 to his season earnings and he is holding tight to the No. 5 position in the PRCA World Standings.
This season, Holston has 23 rides of 85+ Point and 10 Go-Round Wins, both of which are career highs for the 24-year-old.
