Trey Benton III found his stride in late July. The seven-time National Finals qualifier picked up two big wins after multiple big rides in Utah making him your Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
Benton got it started at the Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Xtreme Bulls with what might have been the matchup of the night. Benton drew Top Shelf of Powder River Rodeo and when the eight seconds was up, a 90-point ride sent him to the winner’s circle in Spanish Fork. He won about $14,000 for splitting the win with World No. 1 Stetson Wright.
It was followed up with a trip to the Gold Medal Round at Utah Days of ’47 Rodeo. Where Benton, who was 88.5 points in the Long Round, matched up with Sankey Pro Rodeo and Phenom Genetics Arctic Assassin to make his second 90-point ride of the week and cash in on another huge win.
