Oklahoma’s Jayco Roper locked in two wins to pick up momentum as the summer run gets closer. These two wins came with paydays that total over $7,800 to make him your Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
Roper’s week started out at the Santa Rosa Roundup in Texas. A matchup with Unleashed of Beutler and Son Rodeo ended with an 86-point score topping the leaderboard. The win came by two and a half points and an almost $2,000 payday.
The second win of Roper’s week was none other than the Redding Rodeo. With Bridwell Pro Rodeo’s No Tail Dell next to his name, Roper bested his already winning score of 86 when he put together an 87-point ride.
Roper is now the No. 20 ranked bareback rider in the PRCA World Standings and he is looking for his second National Finals Rodeo qualification. Picking up wins only boosts a cowboy’s confidence going into the summer run and Roper has done just that to be your Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
