Hayes Weight hit the jackpot in Raleigh, North Carolina this weekend with the Cinch World’s Toughest win coming his way. He now sits just outside the Top 5 in the PRCA Bull Riding World Standings to be your Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.

Weight would cash in on a total of $4,291 after covering his Round 1 bull to land at the top of the leaderboard. An 87-point ride on Championship Pro Rodeo’s Express Lane sent him straight to the pay window before he cashed in again in the Shootout Round.

Weight faced off with Trey Holston in the Shootout Round and his matchup was Championship Pro Rodeo’s Blowin Smoke. Neither cowboy made the eight second whistle and that means they split the Shootout Round bonus money. Each walked away with an extra $250 that come September 30, could be the $250 that pushed a cowboy into the Top 15.

The Utah bull rider qualified for his first National Finals Rodeo in 2023 and after ten rounds in Las Vegas, he was the No. 10 ranked bull rider in the world. This season, he has continued to climb the standings early and this Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo win has put him in the No. 6 position in the world.

Weight’s success in North Carolina has made him your Emark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
