When Tanner Aus wrapped up the third leg of the Texas Swing he was the No. 12 ranked bareback rider in the World. With his success at Rodeo Austin and two other rodeos along the way, he now sits No. 6 in the PRCA World Standings to be your Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.

One trip east and one trip north called Aus’ name before Austin. He picked up a $1,100 in Florida with an 84.5-point ride and another $1,600 with his win at the North Dakota Winter Show Rodeo. This came to the tune of 85.5 points on Bailey Pro Rodeo’s Colorado Bulldog.

When Rodeo Austin came around, Aus rolled right into it. He was 85 points in Round 1 before he put together an impressive 90-point ride aboard Andrews Rodeo’s Wrap It Up in Round 2 to land his place in the Finals. A matchup with Andrews Rodeo’s Empty Promises was anything but empty when Aus nodded his head. After a flashy and aggressive ride, Aus touched down in the Winner’s Circle with 90.5 points. Giving him as many 90+ Point Rides in a three-day stretch as he did the previous two years combined.

This is the eight-time National Finals Rodeo bareback rider’s second Rodeo Austin title and this one added $15,000 to his name. Aus is your Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
