World Champion bareback rider Clayton Biglow has been on a heater in the month of August. He has brought in a total of $21,497 and over $15,000 of that came last week. Biglow is your Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
Biglow got his week started in Golden Valley, North Dakota where he placed the lowest he would all week, third at the Wayne Herman Xtreme Broncs with an 83.5-point ride on Bailey Pro Rodeo’s Rocky Mountain Front. It was only up from there for the California cowboy.
A matchup with the great Yippee Kibitz of Calgary Pro Rodeo in Canby, Oregon resulted in a 90.5-point ride to win the Canby Rodeo and cash in almost $5,000. It was the highest marked ride and biggest payday of his huge week.
From there, an 86-point ride in Burley, Idaho on Red Velvet of King Rodeo’s won Biglow the Cassia County Fair and Rodeo before he ended up in Moses Lake, Washington with yet another first-place finish. Corey and Lange Rodeo’s Flaxy Lady and Biglow put together an 86.5 that was worth $4,000.
Riding a wave of momentum that started in late July, Biglow has been all gas and no breaks as he heads into the final weeks of the season as the No. 6 ranked bareback rider in the World.
