Dona Kay Rule and Valor ran their fastest time of the San Antonio Rodeo to end their bracket on a high note. The duo clocked a 13.85 to cinch their first go-round win but also cinch their spot in the Semifinals.
“We love this rodeo. Everybody is so helpful and the ground is pretty good. It’s a little deeper this year but it’s exciting, it’s fun,” Rule said.
For Rule, she redeemed herself from Round 2 by just sending Valor and paying attention.
“He feels really good, he was excited to be here,” she said about two-time Horse of the Year Valor.
After finishing second in San Antonio in 2022, Rule is looking to win it as she heads in to the Semifinals. Joining her in the Semifinals from Bracket 5 is Margo Crowther, Kricket Gintner and Taycie Matthews.
