Denell Henderson Flies to a Win at the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse Frontier Days and Rodeo

Huntsville, Texas cowboy Denell Henderson picks up a win just down the road in Weatherford.

Through one round of slack and the first two performances, a 4.2-second run was holding tight to the lead at the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse and Frontier Days Rodeo until Denell Henderson backed in the box. Smooth is fast and Henderson stopped the clock at a blazing 3.8 seconds to claim the win.

“Well, I just knew I had a good steer so the main thing was get out of the barrier, put my hands on him and do my job,” Henderson said.

It helps to have a special kind of horsepower too and Henderson’s equine partner is fired up at all times. The win is theirs by almost half a second as the Summer Run approaches quickly. This is a win sure to give Henderson a boost in momentum.

Justin Shaffer’s 4.2 was good enough for second when the dust settled while Stephenville’s Don Payne rounded out the Top 3 in Weatherford.
