Logan Hay suffered an injury in Redding, California and he returned the arena at the Ponoka Stampede. As the reigning Champion of the Calgary Stampede, Hay returned to defend his title and he kicked it off in a big way with an 87-point ride on Vold Rodeo’s One More Reason.
“Shoot, they’ve been kind of feeding me to the wolves here. I’ve been getting on some buckers for my first two back but I feel like I’ve been tested and [my] elbow feels good and it worked out,” Hay said.
Hay says when he stepped in the arena at Calgary, he let the exact same as when he left last year. His Round 2 draw is Two Trick Pony as Hay continues gunning for a second consecutive Calgary Stampede title.
